If This Sounds Familiar

You're not alone in this

You do not feel like yourself lately.

You snap or shut down, even when you do not want to.

You keep things to yourself because talking feels harder than staying quiet.

You are carrying pressure no one sees.

You feel like you should be able to handle this on your own.

You are exhausted from pretending everything is fine.

What you are experiencing is not failure. It may be what happens when too much has been carried for too long, or when the way you have always coped is no longer working.

Who I Work With

All kinds of men walk through my door

There is no single way that men experience stress or ask for help. Some arrive knowing what they want to work on. Others only know that something does not feel right.

How Counselling Works

What happens in the room

I am not here to tell you who to be or hand you a formula. We work together to understand what is happening and what may help in your actual life.

Slow things down

Understand what is happening instead of reacting automatically.

Learn to respond instead of react

Once you see the pattern more clearly, you have more choice.

Understand where it comes from

Explore the experiences and pressures that shaped how you cope today.

Build real tools for real life

Find practical ways to communicate, set boundaries, and respond differently.

Feel more grounded and connected

Become more present with yourself and the people who matter.

A Humanistic Approach

I'm not here to judge you. I'm here to understand you.

Men come to me when they feel overwhelmed, angry, or disconnected, even if they are not sure how to explain it yet.

I take a grounded, human approach. I am engaged, steady, and focused on helping you make sense of what you are carrying. The work we do together is collaborative and practical.

My approach is humanistic at its core. I also draw from CBT and mindfulness-based work where they are useful. These are not rigid programmes. They are ways to understand patterns and create more room for choice.

My background working on suicide and crisis lines with the Canadian Mental Health Association taught me how to stay present in difficult moments.

Support That Understands Life Between Cultures

I was not born in Canada. I moved here, rebuilt my life, and know firsthand what culture shock, isolation, and the pressure to adapt can feel like.

Counselling is available in English and Arabic.

Your First Session

You don't need to know what to say

Most men come in unsure where to start. That is normal.

You do not need a script, a diagnosis, or a complete explanation. We start wherever you are, at your pace.

What to Expect

  • We talk about what is happening now.
  • We look behind anger, stress, numbness, or withdrawal.
  • We decide together what would be useful.
  • You leave with something concrete.
  • No jargon and no obligation to continue.
