How Counselling Can Help

Start with your own experience

This is individual counselling for men, not couples counselling. It focuses on what happens for you, what you bring into the relationship, and which choices are within your control.

The purpose is not to build a case against your partner or decide who is right. It is to understand the pattern clearly enough that you can respond with greater honesty and responsibility.

A Humanistic Approach

Samer takes a grounded, collaborative approach. The work considers your history, culture, relationships, values, and the full context of your life.

Sessions are available in English and Arabic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about relationships counselling

Is this couples counselling?

No. Samer provides individual counselling only. Your partner does not attend sessions.

Can I come if my partner asked me to?

Yes. You can begin with your own experience, even if you do not agree with every part of your partner's view.

Will Samer tell me whether to stay?

No. Counselling can help you decide more clearly without making the choice for you.

Can counselling help after separation?

Yes. It can support grief, anger, parenting concerns, identity change, and understanding patterns.

Scope and Safety

Individual counselling is not couples counselling, mediation, legal advice, or an assessment of who is right. Safety takes priority where intimidation, coercive control, or violence is present.

If anyone is in immediate danger, call 9-1-1. If you are thinking about suicide or worried about someone else, call or text 9-8-8 in Canada.
